Dance studio and rehearsal space rental in Amsterdam

Book a dance studio in Amsterdam by the hour for training, choreography, classes, auditions or filming — with the floor, mirrors and sound you need.

Floors, mirrors and sound

The three things dancers check first — all listed as features on every space.

  • Sprung or marley floors that are kinder on knees and ankles.
  • Mirrored walls, and a ballet barre where the space offers one.
  • A sound system with a usable input for your own playlist.
  • Changing rooms and floor area big enough for your group.

How booking by the hour works

Setspce is a marketplace: independent hosts list their space, you book the hours you need. There is no membership and no minimum commitment beyond the host's own minimum booking length.

  • Pick your date and the hours you need — most spaces start at one or two hours.
  • Send a request; the host approves or declines it. Nothing is charged until it is accepted.
  • Pay securely in the platform. The address and access instructions unlock once your booking is confirmed.
  • Add-on services (engineer, lighting kit, extra gear) can be added by the host and are priced per booking.

What does it cost?

Hosts set their own hourly rate, so prices differ per space, size and equipment. The price you see on a listing is the price you pay per hour: it already includes the Setspce service fee. Individuals see prices including 21% Dutch VAT; business accounts see net prices and VAT is added at checkout so it can be reclaimed. Longer bookings can carry a host-set discount, and a €1.50 booking protection fee applies per booking.

Frequently asked

Can I teach a paid class in a rented studio?

That is up to the host. Their house rules on the listing state whether classes and paying participants are allowed — message them if it is not clear.

Can I rehearse regularly at fixed times?

Yes, book the same slot per week. Where a host offers a discount for longer bookings it is applied automatically to the total.
